Едем седня на дачу.. Мои папа и бабушка говорят про олимпиаду в Пекине и про то, как у нас в стране построена подготовка спортсменов.
И тут бабушка (ей сейчас 83 года) рассказывает о своей короткой истории пребывания в спорте:
"Это было в Казани, в 1942 году. Я закончила семилетку и поступила в техникум.
Я очень хотела учиться, но Эмма (старшая сестра) сказала, что она нас двоих не вытянет, поэтому я бросила техникум и пошла работать на завод.
К нам пришел тренер, стал агитировать в секцию легкой атлетики. Я всегда любила бегать, поэтому пошла, чтобы попробовать себя в спорте.
Потренировали нас один месяц и отправили на соревнования.
А время было голодное: бывало, на работе в обморок падали, не говоря уже о соревнованиях.
Мы выступали от Ленинского района. Другим перед стартом дали по кусочку шоколада! А нам дали морковку.
Бегать-то я люблю, но на одной морковке в день далеко ли убежишь? Хотела отказаться, т.к. боялась что упаду и опозорю район. Но побежала.
Добежала. И не последняя, после меня еще были...
Тренер потом приходил, уговаривал дальше тренироваться, говорил, что я перспективная... но я не пошла.
Вместо этого пошла в вечернюю школу, потому что хотела учиться и плюс к рабочему пайку в вечерней школе давали по 100 граммов хлеба."

Самое яркое впечатление от прочитанного за последнюю тысячу световых лет:))

17-20 августа в г.Палех (это недалеко от Москвы) пройдет художественная выставка "В поисках утерянного рая", где будут выставляться картины, несущие свет и любовь. Палех - это творческий город-село, где на 7 тысяч жителей приходится 700 художников:))
На выставку приедут картины из Сибири, в том числе работы красноярской художницы Юлии Ивановой и опусы нескольких "чайников", впервые взявших в руки кисть и масляные краски, в том числе мой, под названием "Радужное сердце":

Last time we talked about this writer from Tibet – Lobsang Rampa and as I read his material, he was the first individual that in a sense came out and said, you know, the things that I experienced already by my creating them and belief. He was the first person that came out and said these things are real. Plus added many more concepts to it, like the third eye that he talked about, out of body travel and many other things. As I accepted him in that material, by that I had a belief system, so as I accepted him, and I accepted him probably because of his honesty. In all of his books you can tell who he is, he never tries to hide his real personality, positive or negative, he never tries to hide his feelings, positive or negative. In his books you could tell who he was. Grumpy sometimes, happy sometimes, but there was no smudging over. All my life, even in my young years, that’s something I disliked. And I instantly would mistrust someone that went around and said everything was perfect all the time, I always gave that for sort of perfection, because I could easily see that it wasn’t so and to me if they lied about that, well then, they lied about other things also. And you just start questioning about what is true and what is not, well, it gets kind of complicated. You’ve got to believe or not believe.

I’m gonna call this recording “How I created the life that I’m living now”. And I’m dedicating this to the young man in Russia whose father wrote me. And I instantly recognized something in this young man that, well, sits in me. And so, I thought it’s time to do this recording. I thought about it for a while, but I didn’t really want to do it, but I think, it’s time.

One of the things I wanted to make sure I put across when I wrote my first book is that I’m nothing special, I don’t have special talents. I’m as normal as an every-day person that walks the street, goes to work. Really, no different.
